D. Thomas as the 2008 Texas State Poet Laureate. In addition to publication in Borderlands, Larry's award-winning

Submit your work for publication in the upcoming issue. Since its debut in 1992, Borderlands continues to receive wide critical acclaim and garners a national readership. Submission deadline for the Spring/Summer 2009 issue is December 15, 2008. The exclusive focus of the Spring/Summer 2009 issue is ekphrastic poetry, poetry that comments upon other art forms.
