Borderlands: Texas Poetry Review is a literary journal based in Austin, Texas that publishes poetry along with photographs, reviews and essays.

Book review highlights include Ken Fontenot’s In a Kingdom of Birds (winner of the Texas Institute of Letters 2013 Best Book of Poetry Award), Danielle Seller's 'expertly plotted' Bone Key Elegies and Laurie Saurborn Young’s exquisite Carnavoria.

Special musical performance showcasing singer/songwriter Ariel Herrera (lead vocalist of 2013 Jam Fest winner Circus).

Submit your work for publication in the upcoming issue. Since its debut in 1992, Borderlands continues to receive wide critical acclaim and garners a national readership.

Submissions for issue 39 (October launch) are under review by new editor Ryan Sharp. Submissions for isssue 40 (March 2014) are being accepted through Dec. 15, 2013.
